Jimin debuted as a main dancer. K-army know very well that Jimin is the main dancer.Because BTS release an album and exact information is provided. All K-Army have watched it all along and are well aware of it.
Outside of South Korea, it is easy to manipulate the information with incorrect translations. I am sad that some fans deny his position with one wrong translation although there is plenty of evidence that Jimin is the main dancer.
Main dancer is Position. Position is not for fans to decide. It is given by big hit. And it is transferred to the media. All broadcasting, newspaper, television program, websites, magazines say that Jimin and J-hope are both main dancers.
Changing the position of member is a kind of anti action. We shoudn't act like that.
Some people use 'Knowing brothers' as proof. But that is the wrong translation.
Some people are arguing with the wrong translation because they don't know Korean well. I know well because I am Korean.

Jimin is really famous for his dance in Korea. So the host asked 'Jimin' if he's a main dancer. Jimin replied humbly. He wanted Jhope to get attention.
Translator only translated the part Jimin.They didn't translate part Hobi said "aniya(No, I am not main dancer)".Both of them didn't claim the position then.But both are main dancers. It is common Korean Culture to respect the other while lowering oneself.

I used 'main dancer, a main dancer, the main dancer' in this thread. Because I am Korean and did not know how to use definite article, indefinite article(a, an, the) correctly. But I have said clearly many times that Jimin and Jhope are both main dancers.
